New Log Home for the Log Dog Puppies

I Just wanted to show off the new enclosure, this is where they spend parts of the day

They just love the new enclosure it has 2 half logs that they sleep under and climb on.

with logs and stumps and a little log cabin.

At least this way I know that they are not eating anything from the garden which could harm them.

They have a bed of sand outside the kennel .

Log Dog Puppies 2/03/2010

They love the garden

When they come out from under the stairs

This is their outside den.

They can fertilize outside today

They are too big for the old day pen and only sleep in here at nights or if it is raining heavy.

Milly still feeds them a few times a day but mostly Boo Boo looks after them, playing with them,

 nibbing their coats and protecting from any intruders

I want to keep this one she is just precious

They are all amazing dogs with very individual personalities and looks.

Log Dogs

LOG DOGS

This is a site devoted to developing a new, rare breed of dogs called Log Dogs.
This breed originated in Herberton, The Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland.
A long time breeder who would like to remain Anonymous, has been breeding this cross for 15 years.
The breed has now migrated south to The Sunshine Coast where 2 devoted breeders have continued this incredible lineage. Both Boo Boo and Milly were pick of their litters. For Log Dogs to become a true/common breed there will need to be further controlled breeding i.e. introducing mastiff and boxer back into the Log Dogs.

So Log Dogs are Boxer x Mastiff.

Grand Father of Log Dogs

Boo Boo Bear is a Boxer, Mastiff  Blend.
He is an amazing pet who also herds cattle perfectly, he can sing on command and is very affectionate. He is red brindle in colour and his coat is short/medium in length and silky soft. He loves to swim and run, has no bad vices and has an incredibly deep guard dog bark and presence.
 I knew he was well bred so I chose him on his spirit. This method allowed me to pick a pet that would suit my personality and needs, for more info on animal spirits and how to choose a pup that will lift your spirits, please email me privately.

The original Log Dog is Miss Milly she lover her comforts but also works cattle when asked. Excellent guard dog and friend and loves to come with me when I go horse riding or driving the ute. She is extremely friendly and loves to cuddle, is great with kids and an excellent mother.

When Boo Boo is not working or singing he loves to laze around the house and finds himself the most comfortable guardpost possible.

He loves to hang out with Milly who is a 4 year old Boxer/ Mastiff cross. This is a recent photo of them, just days before the puppies were born, feb 2010.

Milly has been a Log Dog ever since she was young. Climbing the log piles and befriending the cows were two of her favourite pastimes.

But when she is not playing she is an alert guard dog who barks to let me know someone is here.

Milly has also been site supervisor and security guard at the sawmill for over 3 years.


 

 
Both Boo Boo and Milly are dogs of exceptional quality and sound temperment .
 Put them together and we have little Log Dogs.

 

Milly had her puppies on the 3rd of feburary 6:45pm till 4th Feb 12:00pm 2010.
There were 14 but two died.

So 12 healthy little Log Dogs will be ready for sale as of

18/3/2010.

$250.00 each wormed or

$400.00 each wormed,  vaccinated, microchipped.

These little Log Dogs will make excellent family pets, guard dogs, pig dogs, cattle dogs, guide dogs,

search and rescue dogs,

sniffer dogs, gun dogs, agility dogs or acting dogs for movies.
